How Methodus co-operates with you
Training tailored to your needs
All Methodus programs are “tailor made”, which means that the approach to meeting our customer's needs is fully individualized.

Regular meetings
During the implementation of training programs we regularly update our clients about the learning process with the purpose of further adjustments of the process.

Evaluation of learning process
The level od evaluation depends on the agreement with the client. We differentiate between four different levels of evaluation.
  • Participants reaction to training
  • Learning
  • Transfer
  • Productivity

Levels 1 and 2 are the part of our standard package, while levels 3 and 4 are optional and can be specifiacally defined according to your needs and requests.

Reporting and recommendations
After each training we submit a written report to our customers through e-mail. The main reporting elements are:
  • Training agenda with time table (topics and activities)
  • Training objectives and an estimation of their accomplishment
  • Observations we make during the activities (regarding the general atmosphere and the learning process)
  • Summarized training evaluation forms filled by participants
  • Recommendations for organizational development based on our observations made during training

Individual support to participants
In an addition to training, each participant can receive individual support in implementing newly acquired knowledge and skills through:
  • Coaching
  • Counseling
  • Manuals and handbooks
  • Directions and references for further independent learning
  • Trainer’s availability after training completion

Our training methodology

Training design
All our programs are tailor made, which means that the approach to meeting our customer's needs is fully individualized. Before we start the training we conduct a needs assessment, in which we analyze both the client’s needs and the needs of our future participants themselves.
We define the existent and target level of knowledge, skills and attitudes and ensure that both the client and training participants have same expectation regarding the purpose, the objectives and the content of training.

Theoretical framework
Each training is interactive, according to the adult learning principles. The participants are active, which makes it possible for them to stay focused during the whole day.
We motivate participants by including their own examples from everyday life and work, as well as their expectations at the beginning and throughout the training.
The attendants are involved and active in a way that at least 70% of the curriculum is structured as «experiential learning».
It means that they first experience a situation in which they have to solve a certain task (individually, in small groups or big group), which is followed by the facilitated group discussion in which participants share their experience in carrying out the task, generalize the learning and connect it to the everyday situations at work. The activities carried out at the training are designed to meet all four basic learning styles at the process level (dimensions: abstract-concrete and reflective-activity).
Activities are combined with the content in a way that they cover all three areas of learning (knowledge, skills and attitudes).
Trainers use a great variety of modern methods: visual aids, handouts, case studies, role-plays, videos, discussions, exercises, simulations and other materials with the purpose of participatory learning.

Training delivery
Every activity is followed by the group discussion (debriefing). The trainers are qualified for the facilitation of such discussions according to the standard «debriefing cycle» of experiential learning (consists of four stages: sharing, interpreting, generalizing and applying).
While working with the big group divided in smaller groups, this method ensures that every small group guided by the same or a different trainer at the end of every activity has the learning equally consistent with the purpose/goal of the activity.

Materials
Each training is accompanied with a manual that includes theoretical data and practical examples, as well as basic bibliography from the trained area.
Participants also receive handouts, case studies and other aids that facilitate learning process. All interactively created visual materials are included in digital photomap distributed after training.
